We ensure the shared name of Ferm is a catalyst for more brand visibility and brand awareness. • Manager internal communications agency
      • Sep 2018 - Sep 2020

In September 2018 Landelijke Thuiszorg, Landelijke Kinderopvang, Puuur, Oziki and KVLV decided to consolidate their communications efforts and founded a shared internal communications agency. The first priority of this internal communications agency was to develop one brand shared by these organisations. With the help of Kunstmaan - Accenture, we created a new name (Ferm), logo, and corporate communications guidelines. We also developed one online platform, adapted all existing communications material and prepared an extensive internal and external rollout strategy to ensure acceptance and sheer enthousiasm of internal and external stakeholders about the new brand. This culminated in a spectacular launch event on January 24th 2020 and a guerilla marketing initiative on January 25th 2020 where we put doormats with 'Ferm welkom' at the front doors of 90.000 households in Flanders. (BOCAP award)As manager of the internal communications agency, I was responsible for managing the creative team: defining an appropriate look & feel for print and digital outlets, creating content, developing the campaign launch and event while preparing for a rollout of brand new communications materials for Ferm vzw, Ferm Huidhoudhulp, Ferm Thuiszorg, Ferm Kinderopvang and Ferm Oppas.

With 80.000 members, Ferm vzw is the largest women's organisation in Flanders, Belgium. Publishing cookbooks with healthy and balanced meals as early as 1927 with a special WW II edition, setting up free health care and vaccinations for young children in the 1950's and facilitating farms to get access to running water in the 1960's are just some examples of their accomplishments.Today, the challenges of Ferm vzw include empowering women, raising awareness and changing behaviours to benefit a sustainable future and improving the work/life balance.Responsibilities of the MarCom coach:- Coach MarCom team members- Strategy and government compliance- Communications & PR- Marketing- Press relations- Copywriting- Event management
