  By planning field trips, bringing in guest speakers, incorporating culturally relevant materials, and more, I helped students connect what they learn in school to their everyday lives. I created and implemented standards-aligned lessons that engaged students in learning. In 2017, I became Co-Team Lead for the Junior High, and in 2019, I became the Campus Lead for the After-School Program.
