The research project focused on the assessment of the impact of selected carbohydrates including glucose, galactose and lactose, and fermentation products such as lactate and glycerol, on growth and biofilm formation ability of selected whole genome sequenced Listeria monocytogenes strains in a range of conditions. The work contributed to a poster presentation in an international conference and data will be used in coming publications.Techniques: - Crystal Violet (CV) staining - CFU counting - Live/dead staining - Fluorescence microscopy
