The goal of this study is to conduct content analysis of tweets collected in summer 2020 related to conversations about heat-not-burn alternatives to cigarette devices, IQOS, and highlight how the FDA's MRTP (Modified Risk Tobacco Products) Authorization in July 2020 (FDA authorized IQOS to be marketed as MRTP products) affected these twitter conversations. - Qualitatively coded 1,000+ tweets regarding heat-not-burn alternatives to cigarette devices to identify how the FDA’s Modified Risk Tobacco Products Authorization affected online discourse- Collaborated with a team of 6 researchers and students from different universities to develop coding framework

This longitudinal study, titled Military Teenagers’ Environments, Exercise, and Nutrition Study, is a joint collaboration between the University of Southern California and the RAND Corporation. The study investigates the relationship between military children's food/physical activity environments in their schools and neighborhoods and their diet, sedentary behavior, body weight, and physical activity levels. - Led efforts in data cleaning and organization of existing data sets- Performed logic checks in parent and young adult datasets and survey responses- Compiled 20+ peer-reviewed articles using various scientific databases for a literature review project
