Participated in the biochemical, biomedical, urological and immunological laboratories in order to practice laboratory techniques in clinical framework and undertake further necessary training. My duties included the preparation of body samples for carrying out clinical tests. For example: -Centrifugation and separation of plasma from whole blood samples for carcinogens testing, -Culturing urine and feces samples in agar plates for bacterial infections testing. I was also responsible for collecting body samples from a special station and organising them in regard to the clinical tests they were undergone. Additionally, I was maintaining sufficiency of laboratory supplies, including culture plates. By partaking in all the above tasks, I was able to improve several transferable skills including lab equipment handling, time-management, team working and communication skills. Show less
