In June of 2020, I worked alongside the HR director at Hassans International, the largest Law firm in Gibraltar. After having studied a module of HR at Newcastle University, my passions towards HR and Talent Development ignited immensely. I was able to understand the true value of HR within an international organisation. I was also introduced to admirable HR Directors where they enabled me to fully comprehend what a colossal role HR has during these times of VUCA. For the past three years, I have taken part in the PwC Summer Student Programme in Gibraltar, working in both the Audit and Tax departments. This experience gave me an immense understanding in working for a major international accounting firm and has hugely triggered my interest in this field. Working closely with senior members of the firm helped me to maintain optimum levels of communication for the effective and efficient completion of my internship. Participated and contributed in a program which focused on leadership, which consisted of various workshops which focused on integration and Team building. By acquiring these new skills I was able to increment the collaboration of team members within the final presentation we had to deliver.
