Working with Sofia recently I was impressed by her ability to reflect on cultural behaviour - both her own and others. Based on these reflections she is able to adapt her strategies both in the short and long term to improve communication and team work. This is a unique ability that will stand her in good stead when working with diverse teams locally and internationally.

Sofia is an incredible colleague and a real asset to the team. She never accepts the status quo or the answer "because we've always done it that way" and is constantly forging ahead to innovate. She is very dependable, knowledgeable, and a positive teammate.

I first met Sofia while interviewing candidates for a board position in the National Latino Hispanic Resource Group at Oracle. Since then, she demonstrated many skills that would made her an ideal candidate for the role. After working with her for almost two years, I have been impressed with her performance. Sofia immediately made an impact bringing structure to our group: She is a very goal oriented driven leader, who has excelled at managing a pool of diverse projects, assigning resources and tracking them until completion. In addition to that, Sofia has been critical in proposing and driving the strategy to transform the organization to become more impactful for the company, our members and Oracle’s business. Her contributions have been so many, that she was immediately considered to participate in the Emerging Executive Program of one of the top Hispanic organizations in the country. If she can accomplish so much in a voluntary role, I can only imagine how she performs in her actual role at Oracle. I consider Sofia to be a great partner, who has collaborated with me in launching key programs, such as our webinar series. I am delighted to interact with her every day, and can definitely see her in an executive role in the near future.
