  Betly, a charming opera by Gaetano Donizetti, tells the story of Betly, an independent Swiss girl resistant to the charms of her suitor, Daniel, who is fooled into believing that she has accepted his marriage proposal. Let down, he soon finds an advocate in Betly’s brother, Max, who has been away for years and has returned unrecognized. In order to stop a climactic staged duel between Max and Daniele, Betly finally agrees to marriage, and her brother reveals his identity.   La danza è certamente un'attività sportiva che richiede un notevole impegno, se vissuta intensamente, ma è anche e soprattutto una delle espressioni culturali e spirituali più alte e nobili del nostro corpo, attraverso il quale si trasmettono forti ed intense emozioni, che possono tramutarsi in sentimenti indelebili di gioia e di felicità, di tristezza e di dolore, tutti componenti essenziali della nostra vita, che purtroppo è sempre più scandita da ritmi lavorativi asfissianti che ci privano poco a poco, ma sempre più marcatamente, dell'attenzione per noi stessi, del nostro corpo e del nostro spirito, facendoci perdere di vista l'essenza di noi stessi.
