- Engaged as a doctoral researcher at The UWA Institute of Agriculture past two years on analysis of impact assessment of Climate Change (abiotic stress management-drought) on agriculture. - Investigating the changes in morpho-physiological traits, and perform comparative metabolomic and proteomics profiling of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) genotypes under terminal drought stress. - Analysing chickpea genotypes under progressive drought stress using image-based high throughput phenotyping facilities. - The genotypic research of morpho-physiological traits and water-use patterns will generate scope for understanding mechanisms encoding drought tolerance, developing drought−adapted cultivars and increase yield by 30-40% under drought stress.
