  Sponsored project • A wellness based, patient centric approach to design a scalable, and replicable process to promote, collect and integrate healthcare power of attorneys into the patient’s health records. • Conducted in-context observation at clinics, interviewed patients and medical staff, to understand patient and staff pain points, backend process flows to uncover barriers to process completion. • Used experience maps and process maps to synthesise findings from the research. The solution: • Developed a communication strategy for creating patient awareness, patient guides to support patients through the process. • Redesigned the HPOA form for increased readability and easy access to patient information. The communication materials and the form were refined after 2 rigorous rounds of usability testing with patient and non patients. • Developed a implementation blueprint showcasing the digital and physical experiences, recommending stakeholder actions and KPIs for successful implementation.   Bridging world-views: a Hawaiian lens Sponsored project An experiential app communicating the traditional navigation concepts in Hawaii for students at the UH Manoa campus. Conducted secondary research, and qualitative semi structured interviews of students, experts on and off campus to understand Hawaiian concepts. Synthesised findings from research using visual frameworks and diagrams to identify key emerging themes and design principles for developing prototypes. Out of 4 major themes, the app uses digital medium to communicate with the students to meet them where they are. Designed to communicate two different traditional concepts. - A digital application and grounded experience that invites students to practice navigation based on Hawaiian principles, and actively develop a relationship with the hawaiian land over time. - A guided meditative practice to support the practice of kilo. Developed prototypes in Figma to demonstrate the working of the app and contextualise the work with the universities current efforts. Show less
