I am studying various aspects of ecology and evolution in natural populations of various species of Impatiens. I use a multi-prong approach involving genetics, pollinator interaction, phenology and controlled green-house breeding experiments to understand diversification and hybridization in this plant genus. I characterise various aspects of the biology of wild plants by generating and analysing primary data. I use modelling and statistical analysis to generate patterns out of raw biological data.
