  1. Analyzes machine and equipment malfunctions.2. Tests electrical circuitry, of a less to moderate complex nature, in equipment using voltmeters, ammeters and similar devices to ascertain area causing power short or loss of current referring to less complex wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, etc., and repairs and/or replaces defective electrical parts such as switches, resistors, brushes, chokes and related components. 3. Examines and tests circuitry and components in less complex electronic control panels and devices utilizing computer programs, circuit maker, proteus to locate source of problem. 4. Installs new machinery and equipment.5. Works closely with engineering to develop, fabricate and assemble new equipment.6. May analyze breakdown problems and diagnose causes of malfunction. Performs all necessary repairs or replacement of broken parts, including the modification/fabrication of parts to eliminate malfunction. 7. Troubleshoots failure in new and old equipment and most complex previously installed equipment, tracing circuitry from power source to equipment to determine if problem is in equipment or power source and will trace defect to defective component part such as resistors, diodes, transistors, etc., and must be able to locate malfunctions which are intermittent. Make expedient repairs to maintain production requirements.
