  My most recent position involved several different aspects of Human Resources. Primarily, my everyday tasks included: •Implementing and executing the organization’s recruiting strategies: -Reviewing resumes, pre-screening applicants, conducting all recruiting calls, scheduling interviews, conducting daily interviews/orientations, and hiring all qualified candidates. -Daily utilization of several recruiting and hiring platforms such as Hireology, Indeed, Handshake, Career Plug, When I Work, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. •Policies and Procedures: -Producing, coordinating, and maintaining all Human Resources-related files and records (all personnel files, background and DMV checks.) -Overseeing and maintaining employment authorization documents and ensuring timely completion of all new hire paperwork. This required daily utilization of MBA (Modern Business Associates) to onboard new hires and to process documents such as I-9’s and W-2’s. -Addressing any employee relations issues and ensuring they are solved in a timely manner. •Payroll: -Processed payroll for 100+ employees every two weeks. -Kept up with salary changes, attendance, tips, and bonuses. -Responded to all employee inquiries regarding their salaries and other benefits or issues. •HR/Business Development: -Overseeing all Admin/HR training. -Maintaining all records of employee training completions. -Implementing new recruiting strategies and new hire training processes. -Marketing the organization to other related organizations (storage units, apartment complexes.) Leadership Development Program at Troy University

  In May of 2018, Dr. John Kline, who is a Distinguished Professor with an international reputation, offered me the position as his intern for the Leadership Development program. I happily accepted, and it was a great decision. Over the summer, I worked New Freshman Orientation IMPACT sessions for the Leadership Development program. I oversaw promoting and discussing the benefits, requirements, and goals of the Leadership Development program to incoming students and their parents. I was also responsible for setting up and taking down the leadership table and answering questions about the program. Most recently, I was the teaching assistant for Dr. Kline’s 4400 Chancellor’s Capstone Seminar, which he co-taught with Troy University Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins. I kept records, tracked all attendance, collected and distributed assignments, and most importantly I helped direct and focus the lines of interpersonal communication between all parties. Essentially, I was the liaison between Dr. Kline, the students, and the Leadership Development department. I was mentored by Dr. Kline and it was an incredible working/learning experience for me.
