    • Intern for the National Endowment of the Humanities
      • May 2023 - Sep 2023

During my summer internship at the National Endowment for the Humanities in the Office of Grant Management, I had the opportunity to contribute to various impactful projects and gained invaluable experiences. Below are a few of my most notable projects: 1️⃣ OGM Website Design: I was tasked with leading the design and development of the OGM website, ensuring it provides a seamless experience for users and reflects the organization's mission. 2️⃣ Data Management: I handled data entry tasks in Excel, accurately recording and organizing annual supplemental awards given to 56 states and territories. 3️⃣ Policy Template Creation: I designed and developed a comprehensive policy template, aimed at streamlining the distribution of brand-consistent policy guidelines published on the website. 4️⃣ Software Transition: I successfully completed the information transfer of 270 awards to a new grant management software. This transition will improve efficiency and accessibility for both awardees and OGM staff. My time at NEH has been a transformative experience, filled with learning, growth, and collaboration. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated team and contribute to the important work of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Show less

    • Intern for the Honorable Judge Dartt
      • Jan 2022 - Sep 2022

In my previous role as an intern for the Spencer County Circuit Court, I gained valuable experience in assisting with court proceedings, data entry, and compiling case summaries. I was able to adapt to new technologies such as online case management systems and scheduled hearings via Zoom. Additionally, I was entrusted with confidential matters pertaining to the court’s jurisdiction and addressed in-person constituent concerns and incoming calls. This role helped me to improve my task prioritization as I managed tasks from three separate offices and numerous supervisors. I was proud to be involved in the criminal justice system and witness the direct impact of Judge Dartt's focus on offering diversion opportunities to assist many individuals in avoiding incarceration and seeking personalized treatment.
