Bio
Brian Fajardo
I worked with Serhii on different teams (he was in InfoSec and I in IT). Serhii is such an exemplary teammate. When I first started to collaborate with his team, I noticed how supportive and focused he is. He is very well organized, and likes to keep track of many areas even that are outside of his role. For example providing support to my team by prioritizing vulnerabilities scanned by Pingcastle or some other similar tool and even assisting the CICD and Dev Ops team. He was handling a lot of work since at the time he was the only Security Engineer, yet I never saw him complain! He is relentless and curious at the same time which my former manager once compared me to him how we both share similar characteristics. I learned a lot from Serhii so much that I would have never had the opportunity to have learned what I learned if I never would have worked with him! I can see Serhii being a mentor to anyone who is passionate about InfoSec. In the times I met virtually with Serhii, he provided me the resources and feedback to assist my team mainly on improving our security posture of our IT infrastructure and other security best practices that he shared not just to my team but to the entire company as a whole. What I admire Serhii about the most and want to emphasize is his can do attitude and taking ownership of all kinds of work of varying levels of difficulty/complexity. This right here is who Serhii Kokhan is!
