Jun 1995 - Present
JMIS: Feb. 1998 - present // other AOIC positions IT Leader providing technical leadership on statewide initiatives in the Illinois Judicial Branch. Notable initiatives include technical leadership for statewide e-filing (eFileIL), which processes 500k filings a month and includes the Supreme Court, Appellate Courts (5 Districts), and all circuit courts in 102 counties. Illinois e-filing integrates directly with 14 different case management systems and offers filers a choice of 20 EFSP service providers. Expanding upon the eFileIL initiative, the Supreme Court directed the use of a central repository portal to compile and provide remote access to Illinois case information and documents. Other enterprise technology initiatives include audio / video recording systems in approximately 425 circuit courtrooms across the state and all reviewing courts used to capture court hearings. Over the past 2 years, events required a change from in-person court hearings to remote and hybrid hearings. The remote hearing technologies were deployed across Illinois courtrooms and configured to integrate with existing courtroom technologies to provide easy-to-use solutions which controlled evidence presentation systems, sound systems, and the digital audio / video recording systems. IT leadership is also responsible for website deployments, cybersecurity, in-house and commercial applications, implementation of a uniform reviewing court case management system, and new initiatives for an online and real-time enterprise reporting system collecting uniform data and statistical reporting. In addition to a staff of 25, JMIS partners with numerous technology service providers. Show less
