It’s not often that you come across an individual that not only exceeds in her role but also works just as hard to mentor her staff to grow and succeed just as much. Although Skip and I had had the opportunity to work at 2 different companies together, our first experience of working side by side was when she was my manager at A&D Medical. She exhibits strong interpersonal skills, exudes confidence that one can look up to and has a business mind that any organization would desire. While at A&D, she was able to look beyond the current situation and foresee the direction of where the business was going. She knew how to plan, prepare and execute to get ahead of the game before the competition did – which resulted in winning new government contracts as a sole source provider for a specific product. I feel very fortunate to have worked closely with Skip as she has been the best mentor to date. She knows the importance of networking, not only knowing the market but seeing the direction that it’s heading, utilizing her resources and able to develop strategies that best serves the company.
