      - Led demographic analyses to produce estimates of the size and characteristics of the US LGBT population, as featured in The Williams Institute’s Data Interactive. Our estimates are the leading data source on the number of LGBT Americans, and have appeared in US House Resolution 5 - Equality Act and other policy change efforts, congressional testimony, Amicus Curiae to the US Supreme Court, and national news reports.- Conducted quantitative analyses of federal /state (ACS, NHIS, YRBS, etc.), nationally-representative (Add Health), and opinion polling surveys (Gallup, GSS, etc.) in STATA, SAS, and MPlus. Analytic techniques ranged from simple descriptive analyses (cross-tabs and t-tests) to complex survey-weighted estimations (mediation/ moderation testing, linear, logistic, and multinomial regression, and structural equation models [SEM]).- Lead- and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts, rapid-response research briefs, and demographic reports on wide range of LGBT health and policy topics, in collaborations with internal research, legal, and communications teams, and external advocacy organizations. Recent topics include The CARES Act, Medicaid expansion, Raise the Wage, housing discrimination, LGBT parenting and family formation, and immigration. - Led analysis and social science research on project aimed at repealing HIV criminalization laws in Missouri, Georgia, and Florida.
