  Starting as a graduate scientist, Siva performed spatial analysis and mathematical calculations for the organisation. He followed by processing data requests, later making them effcient using ArcGIS Model Builder to reduce processing time by around 67%. As a scientist, Siva managed the Ecosystem Health Monitoring Program's data, analysed and produced results, and communicated them through spatial (maps, websites, online story maps) and other (PowerBI interactive data dashboards) means. Scientists at the organisation would make critical interpretations, decisions, and communications from Siva's spatial analysis that help understand the condition of waterbodies in Southeast Queensland and Moreton Bay.   Siva worked for a project that studied global trading practices. This required data to be extracted from tens of thousands of organisations from different securities exchanges globally. To perform this, Siva automated this extraction using a proprietary software, and processed and stored them in a database using My SQL. Additionally, he built spatial models to analyse the economic geography of ASX listed organisations in major Australian cities. Siva started this project as a paid intern, the position awarded for academic merit through the University of Queensland's winter internship program.
