Sally Ann is the Salvation Army’s fair trade concept (the concept is now called "Others"). The idea behind the concept is to give disadvantaged people work and hope for their future - through developing and selling interior products in the eastern world. I was responsible for the purchasing, logistics, sales and marketing including communications and PR. I developed a shop in shop-concept in cooperation with Fretex. I was also responsible for social media and the web shop.In addition to the domestic activities, I was also working with the expansion of the concept.Sally Ann is the Salvation Army`s fair trade concept (the concept is now called "Others") . When I started working as the general manager we had 400 employees in Bangladesh, Kenya and Peru. After a short period of time the number had increased to 1500, and we had developed new projects in Moldova and Pakistan.I was responsible for the Norwegian activities, as well as I was involved in developing projects in several developing countries. I was responsible for the sales and marketing in Norway, product development, purchasing and logistic. I had great success with communication and PR.
