  As an account manager at Corporate Traveller I am responsible for providing solutions for all travel needs of the clients in my portfolio of accounts. Generally each account spends between £50k and £1million per annum on predominantly international and European travel. Implementing new clients into the brand effectively and efficiently is a skill which is always essential. In turn, as is developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients to ensure client retention. Customer service/satisfaction and client relations are of great focus as personal service is one of our brand’s strongest unique selling points. Working alongside our business development managers we work to proactively develop existing and potential new clients. Another valuable part of this process is to identify short and long term strategies to save our clients money and avoid leakage from future travel expenditure. System expertise is one of the most important assets as an account manager in Corporate Traveller. In this ever changing corporate environment, extensive knowledge of our vast air and land product range is essential. Knowledge of air fares, especially our scope of negotiated corporate and retail fares allows us to really stay ahead of the competition. These assets allow us to effect outstanding service while showing real savings to our corporate clients. In June 2013 my team and I won an accolade for most improved Corporate Traveller Team in the UK. And so were lucky enough to attend the Flight Centre Ltd Global Awards in Cancun, Mexico. Show less
