Lead CT/MRI Technologist, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Santa Rosa, California — 2016-presentPerform all routine CT/MRI duties according to department protocol, policy and procedures. Mentor new CT/MRI technologists. Work closely with chief radiologists, fine tuning protocols and being the “go-to” person for Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Petaluma Valley Hospital and Santa Rosa Memorial Outpatient Departments. Member of stroke team for the hospital. Coordinate with Medtronic and also other pacemaker vendors in developing process for scanning MRI conditional pacemaker patients. Mentor new CT/MRI technologists and review checkoff list post training. Work with SRMH transfer center to develop process for patients coming from other facilities.Coordinator for JC students coming to do their MRI rotation with us. As well as performing all Lead CT/MRI Tech duties, also worked with the management team to create employee scheduling, staff reviews, employee counseling and other supervisory duties. Responsible for the selecting of our new MRI and CT scanners- part of the design team for the new rooms for the scanners. Also set up the portable scanners for both CT and MRI during construction Stepped down voluntarily from this position in 2016 in order to return to more hands on patient care.
