I worked with the Director on Cumbernauld Theatre's Production of Chekhovs 'Three Sisters'. After discussing initial ideas for each character I began sourcing individual garments and continued to liase with the director and conduct fittings etc. Closer to Tech we started to finalise 1st and 2nd outfits until myself and the rest of the team were happy. I assisted on the Wardrobe Team for The National Wide re-enactment of the Battle of the Somme, for the 100th Anniversary. It was named Project Octagon prior to show day to keep it secret. My duties included allocating and fitting soldiers and officers into there uniforms. This continued weekly until show day when we had to dress all the participants at once and get them ready to March around the streets of Glasgow, meeting them at rest stops for further costume assistance. Working alongside the production team to produce costumes for the Christmas Production of Sleeping Beauty. I had to design, source, make and fit all costumes to all characters. It was a fantastic challenge and kick started my crossover to the field of theatre and costume.
