The Resident Financial Administrator works on behalf of the individuals that are served by Nonotuck Resource Associates in regards to their financial needs. • Open/close, organize, and create files on computerized accounting program for various bank accounts; work with banks on related issues; create maintain, and update credit/debit automation with regards to entitlements, room and board, monthly spending, and other payments; initiate transfers; reconcile accounts. • Monitor and track room and board; adjust amounts to changes in entitlements or per supervisor. • Report changes to Social Security Administration regarding residence, income, assets, and situation; expedite information regarding changes in entitlements or benefits and appeal when necessary. • Research, obtain, and monitor assets; supply information for applications, re-determinations, and other forms when necessary; writing, as Rep Payee, on each individual to Social Security Administration on a regular basis. • Obtain and monitor insurance information. Verify/report information to necessary billing firms. • Work closely with providers on Financial Transaction Sheets, benefits, assets, and related content; schedule meetings regarding money matters or other related issues. • Research information if necessary and assist service people with Money Management Planning in regards to entitlements, benefits, SSA/SSI entitlements/requirements, room and board, expenses, and/or other money related issues. • Initiate/modify Resident Financial Administrative procedures (per supervisor instruction/approval); assist in agency computer programs/issues. • Note: The computer program currently used is Windows 7. Vital information is stored in the MS Works database and accounting is executed through Quiken. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
