Restorative Justice Coalition Chair

Sep 2018 - Jan 2020
Founded the Coalition on campus with three other students, which led to the development of an alternative judicial and grievance process for staff and students. We drafted the official legislation and presented the policy at faculty meeting, as a result of which five paid jobs for student Facilitators were created and Restorative Justice was officially adopted as part of Reed College's bylaws. As a result, Reed was one of the first colleges in the US to officially adopt the policy, and the first where this change was driven almost entirely by the student body, rather than the staff.
