The Multimillion budgeted Immunisation Project's scope was to immunise the existing operational railway by installing new track circuits employing a frequency based technology novel to the London Underground. This Strategy was a transitional signalling implementation to allow the new S Stock trains to be introduced into passenger service whilst the existing Stocks and associated Signalling System were still in use. My role as a PE was to ensure that signalling and power cables for the Immunisation Project had sufficient and compliant cable management systems design and built to route specifications from source locations; Equipment rooms and Substations to terminating locations; on the tracks as well as wayside equipment. Managed the design through to successful construction delivery of robust EMC compliant CMS for various types of cabling. Covering the East end of the District Line, routing through heritage stations including surface and sub-surface stations and connecting tracks, as well as complex sidings, in compliance with Railway Engineering and Safety Standards.
