  Carrying out all blasting operations at Kansanshi mine using the AXXIS Digital initiation system. AXXIS is a fully programmable, accurate and easy-to-use Digital Initiation System. By design, it is one of the safest initiation systems available. I am able to design and simulate any blast using BlastMap III, to the desired fragmentation. On the technical part of my work, I conduct fragmentation analysis, face profiling and measuring of Velocity of Detonation (VOD) for a blast using hand trap and microtrap. measuring of ground vibration using a Seismograph.   My work included ordering of explosives, ensuring effective and efficient use of explosoves and to keep an inventory of all explosives, supervising magazine attendants. as a P.i.c in blasting, i ensure safety of my crew and achieve the effective blast results. By working with the survey crew i made sure the blast advance are im comformity with the safety standards and suveyors recommendation, in marking blast ends and giving blast direction.
