Includes sign-off of engineering systems on c. 1.5m sq/ft of new space in 2014/2015/2016 programmes. Strategic development of LED lighting solutions throughout the Sainsbury’s estate, including Supermarkets (new build and retro-fit), Convenience, Petrol Filling Stations, Distribution Centre’s and Offices. Lead specifier of LED retro-fit lighting systems for c. £64m of investment. Installed 150,000 luminaires in 2014/2015/2016 programmes, achieving a saving of 70GWhrs of energy per annum.

  Two Snow Hill, Birmingham Lead engineer in the design of electrical services for a new 16 storey + three basement levels high specification office block in the centre of Birmingham. The electrical services included the detailed design of the HV/LV infrastructure, including protection/discrimination studies, life safety standby systems and bulk fuel storage systems and functional, emergency systems and lighting control, small power, data, lightning/surge protection and associated containment systems. The BREEAM target on the Excellent, which has been achieve via careful consideration when undertaking design decisions. Aston University Academy, Aston Lead electrical engineer for the new Aston Academy, undertaking the M&E, fire and acoustics design of a new 650 pupil engineering academy, sponsored by Aston University.

  Landau Forte Academies Lead electrical engineer for the design of two new academies on behalf of N G Bailey Ltd, within an intense design period of 18 weeks. The commission to undertake the detailed design of M & E services, consisted of HV Liaison, LV infrastructure, including protection/discrimination studies, UPS back-up systems, lighting installation, including emergency systems and lighting control, small power, data, fire alarm, lightning/surge protection and associated containment systems. Rodbaston Hall, South Staffordshire College Lead engineer on the re-development of an existing 1800’s building, from an existing school building into a mixed-use development, where the ground floor space would be used as a wedding venue and conference suite and the 1st and 2nd floors consists of office space for executives of the college. Due to the nature of the building and its mixed use requirements, all details had to be carefully considered to ensure its functionality as an office space, but also retaining the charm of a wedding venue. The design included LV distribution, bespoke lighting solutions, lighting controls, fire alarm, security and small power services.

  Chase Technology College, Malvern Design of electrical engineering services for a technology block, which comprised of 17 No laboratories, head offices, toilet facilities and circulation spaces. Services included lighting control systems, provision for safe supplies to the laboratories with remote trip facility. Simonside Metro Station, Newcastle Commission included the design of lighting system associated with new rail platforms and designated public walkways, to fully comply with Nexus and Network Rail requirements. RAF Menwith Hill, Yorkshire Lead electrical engineer in the electrical design of various key structures throughout the site. Services included lighting, small power, data services, road/car park lighting, HV liaison and LV infrastructure design.
