Helping to train new members of bar and server staff to ensure they are able to carry out their roles to the high standard expected by the club and acting as a point of contact for them to liaise with management. • Regularly taking responsibility for updating bars and serveries SOPs. • Produce weekly rotas for the bar and server staff ensuring all hospitality areas are staffed sufficiently as demand from the business dictates (function hire etc…) • Overseeing storage, listing and services of all wines within the bars and the serveries • Ensuring hygiene practices are adhered to in accordance with current Health and Safety regulations. • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and developing and improving the products on offer by creating new cocktail lists, training other members of the bar and servery team in how to create these etc. • Providing first class service to all members and guests of the club and, where comments or complaints occur, dealing with them with tact, diplomacy and professionalism. • Meeting with senior management to communicate all staff and operational issues and plans. • Consistently seeking to improve the value and quality of services in all the bars and the serveries for members and guests • To produce statistics, trends and any relevant information regarding the food and beverage department as required.
