The businesses profits are now in excess of $1 billion per annum. • I conceived of BG’s LNG trading activity, promoted the concept to the BG board and negotiated the purchase of Lake Charles terminal and associated pipeline capacity.• I established a US based gas and transportation trading business from a zero base taking staffing to 30 people.• Revenue: $270 million, $3 million profit business now risen to over $1 billion.• All trading procedures, systems and controls were developed and implemented in Houston under my leadership.• I ordered 6 new LNG tankers ($950 million) during my tenure and set up an organisation in Korea to supervise construction.
