I am working on pro-active decisions of self-driving cars and interaction handling between self-driving and human-driven cars in the Autonomous Systems Lab with Marco Pavone. We use advanced machine-learning as well as deterministic models to understand and express intent via driving behavior and to formally gurantee safety for the self-driving car's decisions with a game-theoretic reachability approach.
