While at university, I was part of the Brunel Swimming team for which I was Chairman for 4 consecutive years and helped develop the club to gain an additional training session without overspending our budget. I also linked the club with 2 local teams to which we gained additional training, free coaching and the opportunity to compete for.Responsibilities Included: - Safety of 30-40 members - Chairing executive meetings - Planning trips and competitions - Communicating with the Union of Brunel Students staff and team - Delegating jobs to committee members

Student Engineer

In my role as a student engineer during my placement year, I was part of the production drawing office with the main tasks involving the design of new instrument accessories and finding solutions to design problems. This was done by following an ECN procedure which ensured that the correct implementation of a product was carried out as well and its documentation. Other tasks included the updating of CAD data from feedback from the production department and liaison with external suppliers.Skills: - Advanced experience in Solidworks modelling and technical drawing (2d & 3D) - Liasing with internal & external suppliers and customers - Communication with other departments

Lifeguard

Main duty was to lifeguard both fitness and leisure pool, dealing with customers and setting up/setting down sports equipment. To perform lifeguard duties I was required to be NPLQ qualified including Health and Safety and CPR.
