Financial Controller for the Courtyard Marriott Montreal Centre-Ville operated by RIMAP hospitality.I set-up the accounting department at the hotel opening which brought me to publish the first Financial Statements of the establishment. Controls were put in place, assistant and front line staff were trained to have a proper structure and key point verifications. Then, in July 2014 245 apartments unit above the hotel were opened and are in the same legal entity as the later. After two year of operation, we were able to convince the owner to implement property management software for the apartment building for which I coordinated the implementation.As a Financial controller in this establishment I have to go through the whole accounting cycle, from entering invoices, doing payroll to prepare year-end files and report for the Auditor.
