  The longtime focus of my research is tumor immunology. I did my dissertation in the group of Prof. Barbara Seliger (director of the institute for Medical Immunology, MLU Halle-Wittenberg, Germany). During my first postdoc position I worked as teaching assistant for macroscopic anatomy, histology, and neuroanatomy and I did related scientific research, in particular I investigated the link of obesity and tumor diseases, in the group of Prof. Heike Kielstein (director of the institute for Anatomy and Cell Biology, MLU Halle-Wittenberg, Germany). Since 2019 I rejoined the Seliger lab (Institute for Medical Immunology, MLU) and I contribute to science as well as to teaching (practical courses, seminars, and as backup for lectures). Furthermore, I am the biological saftey officer within the institute. Meanwhile, I supervised numerous Bachelor/Master students as well as medical doctor students. Show less
