Delighted to say that from 12 October 2020 our excellent refuse collection, street cleaning and open space maintenance services is to be added to my Directorate, alongside the traditional corporate services (I'm still the s151 officer with responsibilities for Finance, Revenues & Benefits, ICT, HR, Democratic, Legal and Electoral Services and our organisational change capability). Will now be looking to wangle a ride on one of our new refuse freighters (as I'm now learning to call them) as part of my service appreciation activity.

I look after Finance, ICT, HR, our outsourced Bens & Revs contract, change management and more or less everything that could be called 'back office'. I also look after customer services and the contact centre which is very much customer facing.
