In this role, I gained hard skills in refined data analysis and compiled deliverables in the form of surveys and reports based on the data gleaned from the cohort with programs such as Salesforce. I was also able to connect with the New Orleans small-business community and contribute to equitable outcomes within this community.

As a Finance & Accounting Intern at PSBM, my work primarily consisted of Financial Statement analysis, Tax analysis, and Bookkeeping. Through this position, I was able to familiarize myself with relevant office software such as the Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks. Within my role, I was given tasks pertaining to working with the financials of many musical entities, ranging from the musicians themselves to their touring accounts. Anything can happen on the beach, so it was important I was always ready to deal with a crying child or flying umbrella while working in this dynamic environment.
