Responsible for all laboratory scientific activities my role allows me to impact and further the performance and ambitions of the company. As we expand and grow so do the challenges, both quantitatively but also ensuring that the quality is not only sufficient but exceeds stretching expectations. Managing an area covering 7 disciplines and circa 40 people, my managerial experience has been tested and expanded constantly. This growth has allowed me the opportunity to bring in a number of initiatives that have seen a 40% increase in demonstrated capacity whilst having a focus on beating quality expectations.Innovation is a passion. Being from a development background, revolution, evolution and refinement to get better is a core value and I thoroughly enjoy being able to innovate, not only personally but I have put in a "Ground Up Innovation" program instilling the practice to question and consider alternatives constructively into all levels including our newest team members and covering all areas. • Product & Method Development Manager
      • Sep 2012 - Sep 2015

Building on my previous experience within Analytical, Product & Process Development I managed the Development team to deliver chemistry & biochemistry method development objectives and also development support for product development and IMP supply for our R&D program. This saw me combine the analytical and product/production knowledge to ensure that ATL could supply the complete package for IMP. Materials made the right way, delivered on time and tested to meet all requirements. We delivered material for phase I, II & III studies across Europe and the US on time, every time, sometimes in very challenging situations. To further support the program I managed the creation of a new business area, clinical serology, delivering the scope, plans, equipment etc through delivery and validation to the successful monitoring of studies.
