Simon's passion and keen eye for video production surpasses anyone else I know. His natural talent, combined with a real dedication to his craft, is something that I grew to admire during our two years studying together for our Foundation Degree in Creative Digital Media. Whilst others were still trying to find their footing, Simon already knew what he wanted and how to achieve it. If there was a skill he did not know, he always took the initiative and bettered himself, with enough time left over to share his knowledge with others. Simon will always be the first person that comes to mind when I think of Video Production, and the first person I would recommend to anyone else.

Following the rebrand of TECH TV, added responsibilities from my previous role including; leading our team of content producers, increased responsibilities in pre-production and production stages, managing various digital media projects such as; video, photography, podcasts, graphic design, 2D/3D animation, and more. New responsibilities also include camera operating on smaller budget video productions, quoting, budgeting, ensuring monthly invoicing targets are met, graphic design for Holler marketing, and also managing and overseeing the company's own social media content. Undertook 5 weeks (1 show per week) of work experience at BT Sport Studios working on a show called Rugby Tonight, which is aired live. My main role in this production was Camera Assistant. Great experience and appreciative of the advice and knowledge passed down from the guys there. Was also cool to work with some famous faces. Sitting in between England World Cup winners Matt Dawson & Laurence Dallaglio during rehearsals sticks in mind.
