Steve Hanbury
Simon Cobbold was employed by me while I was the owner of SVP Communications, and was one of the mainstays of the office operation. The company sold computer equipment via it’s website to customers all over Europe. As well as taking control of many administrative duties and compliance issues, he was also a leading member of a team of web developers and took charge of all product updates and new product additions in our portfolio of over 4000 products – A huge task! He worked closely with the warehouse, the product buyers, the product suppliers and the SVP marketing department. He was immensely popular with all members of the SVP team, and would always go out of his way to assist others on a professional or personal basis. Without his attention to detail, his hard work and his ability, SVP Communications wouldn't have been as successful as it became. I sold the SVP Communications website in 2008, but if I had retained the company, I would still want Simon working for me now.
