Simon and I worked together to increase awareness of Social Value within ISG. Simon was instrumental in shaping key elements of the Strategy and direction for the business. The work Simon was involved in also formed and shaped policy for the organisation. Simon has enormous amount of creativity, experience and a commitment to ensuring delivery of any area of work assigned to him. It would be hard to imagine anyone better to front an organisation, consultancy service or to work with as a colleague.

Simon was my team leader from 2013-14 and during this time he introduced a number of new and innovative ideas in developing our service to young people and also in working more cohesively as a team. He arranged a highly successful youth event which was open to all young people residing in Barnet as a platform to show others their talents in order to empower them for the future. Simon also introduced the 'gratitude minute' at the start of team meetings which gave us all the opportunity to thank certain team members who went that extra mile for them or others that particular month. This was a fantastic initiative as it introduced a supportive team atmosphere which went a long way in a highly pressured environment.

By bringing together Appreciative Inquiry and in depth Demographic Research I support the Construction Industry to meet the needs and priorities of Communities locally in terms of Social Value and Sustainability, matching those to the national Themes, Outcomes and Measures (TOMS). My work also includes a focus on the 'Social' element of the Environment, Social and Governance factors of ESG, helping companies and organisations to focus and target the most effective Social Value impacts for people and communities.
