Bio
Sarah McArdle
I had the privilege of working with Simon to support and promote the cyber security awareness program at Water Corporation. Simon is an engaging and passionate facilitator, and as a colleague he is 100 per cent committed to providing high quality content in his program.
Silvana Test I Harden I Train
I had the privilege of mentoring Simon when he approached me in through the WA CybSec community at a networking function and asked if he could volunteer for StayCyberSafe. Immediately I was impressed by his commitment to transitioning to the world of Cyber Security and his ability to engage people to learn. Simon as a Volunteer led the Cyber Safe segments of our Stepping Up program for our Not for Profit - Kinship Camps and he was phenomenal in his effectiveness - the kids loved him, it was by far the most popular session and he knew then he had found his calling. Simon was then engaged by Water Corporation to build and deliver their Security Awareness program. He planned, developed and facilitated cyber security awareness across the enterprise as well as to the Alliance partners with strong and effective messaging through active engagement as only a dedicated teacher can. Simon operates at a level of professionalism any organisation would be privileged to have. He is also studying for his Cyber Security Masters at ECU - always striving to learn more so he can share more.
