Sports Editor
-
Nov 2019 - Present
‣ The sports team had previously been a maximum of 3, however this had increased to 9 by November 2019. The expansion of the team meant I officially became the Sports Editor as there was a larger team to manage. ‣ During which time the Friday show has been replaced with a one hour Thursday show, which is aimed specifically for local teams. Local sports bulletins are also included alongside national sport bulletins on flagship shows, such as Breakfast and Drivetime.‣ Throughout my time in the role I have trained up members of the sports team to use Myriad and other equipment so they can present their own shows away from the sport. The advantage of this is, as they increase their knowledge this increases the quality of the sports shows throughout the week. Show less

Sport Host
-
Jul 2017 - Present
‣ I made the transition into the regular sports host for what is now called "The Three o'clock Kick Off" on a Saturday afternoon. ‣ Using the help of my expanding team we created a show to highlight local teams and clubs to advertise themselves to an audience. The increased content created a new 30 minute sports show on a Friday evening to preview the weekend action, this also was combined with an extra 30 minutes at the start of the Saturday show which has since ran from 2.30 pm to 6 pm every Saturday. Radio Presenter
-
Aug 2015 - Present
‣ I joined Beverley FM's sports team in August of 2015 to gain experience in the extremely competitive field of sport journalism. Upon joining I assisted the host of the Saturday sport show with updates on the days sporting action.‣ To gain extra experience around a microphone and to enhance my knowledge of Myriad, I presented an early hours show from 1am - 3am.‣ This eventually progressed to covering more mainstream shows including Saturday Sport and Drivetime.

Commercial Assistant
-
Jun 2019 - Present
‣ Growco is a very different role to Morrisons, rather than being physically hands constantly, I need to be constantly mentally engaged as elements of the job are due to change with the weather (literally). ‣ Throughout my time at Growco I have had to show my proficiency on Microsoft Excel to keep stock sheets and forecasts up to date. This is to help understand how to manage the current stock and inform the growers on how to manage the stock. ‣ I have also been involved in monthly Packhouse visits and sending subsequent reports for improvement and any praise. The role I currently have at Hull City Ladies is to keep the fans at the game informed of news from within the club. This includes pre-match announcement and reading the team news. It is also expected of me to keep up to date with goalscorers, substitutions and the player of the match. Nov 2014 - Jun 2019
‣ While at Morrisons I was trained on several of the "Market Street" stations, the transition between the departments meant I had to be adaptable and learn quickly. ‣ As I worked on various food prep departments the role required that I was responsible for daily stock and date checks to ensure availability of products and maintain high food hygiene standards. ‣ I progressed from "Market Street" to home delivery, which was a high paced environment and meant it was essential for me to have excellent time management so the deliveries were sent out on time.
