Simon (and his team at the time) were involved in the design, detail and fabrication of a stair tower for a cement manufacturer in Perth. The tower was a stand alone structure that supported a conveyor on one side of it, a gravity belt take-up in the centre and a bucket elevator on the other side. The structure was complex and subject to minor changes almost every week . . . yet he and his team kept up to date on the detailing modifications, even during fabrication. That tower went together like a Mechanno set, and was installed within a few hours. I could not have wished for a better outcome.
