Simon was held in high regard by every member of our team. He was a great mentor who allowed the team to develop, create their own ideas and opinions and would support them from concept to completion of a project. Simon understood how fickle the business could be, the peaks and troughs and how hard it can be when you are out in the field on your own and encouraged all the team to support each other, sharing ideas and best practices. He would focus on what was going well, replicating that where possible and during our team meetings we would consider what could be improved and we always took something positive away to work on which made our team successful. During our time working together we won one of the first major BSF projects in the UK.
