      As the Executive Manager Commercial Business I am responsible for leading the commercial and operational management of the Gippsland Water Agribusiness and the Soil and Organics Recycling Facility, and Property Services Business Streams to achieve the required safety, financial, business and environmental outcomes, whilst enhancing our customers experience.The Soil and Organics Recycling Facility (SORF) is an EPA Licensed facility to treat liquid and solid organic material for beneficial reuse and operates landfills for the repository of inert solid waste internally and externally generated. We receives some 200,000 tonnes of prescribed and non-prescribed waste from a range of industries including dairy, petroleum and Gippsland Water’s treatment facilities. We produce approximately 50,000 tonnes of Australian Standard Compliant Compost. The business has extensive partnerships with major companies in the Waste Industry.Gippsland Water’s Agribusiness manages 12 farming and forestry properties spread across the Central Gippsland region from Drouin to Stratford. In total we cover over 10,000 Ha of land with the largest property Dutson Downs over 8500 Ha in total. Farming activities include livestock, grain and fodder cropping, soft wood forestry, waste water treatment lagoons and the irrigation of class “C “ water to crops and pastures.The Property Services division comprises of Property Connections, Land Development and Major Customers. It is responsible for assisting customers with change of property ownership, establishment of new water and wastewater connections, and progressing land development and new business opportunities such as subdivisions and water and wastewater service extensions with property developers in our region. The Major Customers group manages the commercial relationship aspects of our Major Customers such as Loy Yang A (AGL), Loy Yang B (Alinta), Energy Australia, Australian Paper (OPAL), Lion Dairy & Drink, Fonterra, and Saputo.
