My second year of summer employement at Beijer in Mölnlycke though this time relocated to the store. This position included a lot more interaction with customers both private and companies. Other than handling payment, placing orders and assisting customers with advice, I got to do some administrative work such as register arrival of goods in Beijer's internal system. An employement during the summer that involved me helping out running the warehouse part of Beijer's store in Mölnlycke. This included tasks as running forklifts, deloading trucks, cutting boards and timber to measurements and packing deliveries for construction sites in the area. All this along side assisting customers in the warehouse. An employement during the summer that involved me helping out running the warehouse part of Beijer's store in Mölnlycke. A voluntary basic military training towards Recon Soldier within the 71:st motorised infantry battalion conducted at the 7:th armoured regiment in Skåne. A recon’s main task is recognisance of areas and enemy troops in remote locations that are either difficult or dangerous for the rest of the battalion to move through. Therefore, recon groups are regularly put in exposed situations with little support. This requires a lot of responsibility and initiative from each individual. Other than developing basic skills such as time management and adaptability, training within the armed forces increases one’s work capacity. Show less

      • Jun 2016 - Sep 2017

The business model adopted by Byggmax is centered around having a small workforce in store. With there being no more than two employees on site for large portions of the day, every store clerk has to be able to handle all aspects of running the store. It requires all employees to take on large responsibilities. Tasks included cashier service, doing inventory, packaging orders, running the forklifts and unloading trucks. Due to the low workforce there was a lot of exchange of staff between stores in the same area. Those employees who moved a lot had to be able to adapt quickly to new working conditions. Show less
