As ASQA’s Test Lead for a nationwide transformative series of projects I started with an Objective based EDRMS implementation and stayed on for the second phase of the project with a bespoke integration between highly customized MS Dynamics, MS NAV financial system, Objective 8 and a data warehouse. I created a comprehensive test strategy and plan then actioned that plan with excellent results. ASQA has yearly revenue of over $30 million from external payments and ensuring the financial systems were 100% was critical, my testing uncovered and resolved defects that ensured correct financial information and processing of payments. For these projects I sourced and implemented a cloud based test management product (QA Symphony qTest) and negotiated the Authority's initial license deal. I've also trained the ongoing staff in it's use, testing best practice and how to plan and test future releases. There was also a desktop replacement program. I tested the integration of replacement software with the replacement hardware ensuring seamless integration and continuity of business. ASQA has multiple sites nationwide, part of my strategy is to ensure high levels of involvement and support for the remote sites ensuring fast and secure access to the system wherever the users may be accessing it. With a focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) I provide in depth analysis of business scenarios covering the intricacies of the system ensuring the best result for clients and business alike. Software I’m using during this project: MS Dynamics Nav 2013 MS Dynamics CRM 2013 MS Sharepoint Objective ECM8 QA Symphony qTest 6 Show less

As a Senior TA I worked on many aspects of the HP TRIM product from day to day defects through to specialist testing in integration with 3rd party products. Using HP Quality Centre (QC) and later ALM to manage my test projects and defect tracking I have a deep knowledge of these products. My role covered system, regression, integration and functional testing on new developments, patches and updates. I always worked hand in glove with developers throughout the entire software development life-cycle on features and additions as well as finding and assisting in the resolution of defects. A key part of my time with HP was as the sole test resource for the HP TRIM SharePoint integration. Through my time on this I consider myself fluent in SharePoint. The development team was based in Adelaide and myself in Canberra, I developed even stronger communication skills to effectively work with a remote team over Lync, phone and email. With seasonal release deadlines I always delivered my work on time and as required to meet these targets. Show less
