Logistics, Customer Service & Sales Marketing
-
Jan 2003 - Jun 2007
In 2003 I joined the Adidas family at their apparel warehouse in Athlone in 2003 where I was involved in all order fulfillment activities for both field and key accounts. In 2004 I worked my way into sales where I managed the Promotions Store in Epping. Together with one sub-ordinate, I was responsible for the provision and management of sponsored athlete’s team apparel and footwear. My activities Included order placement, stock receiving, dispatch and stock take. In this role my bubbly personality and my natural drive to learn more were an asset as I liaised with senior staff, athletes, agents and service providers to deliver an excellent service. In 2005 I took on a PA role with Derek Mc Garry Agencies which at the time ran the adidas agency for Cape Town, giving me the opportunity to excel in customer service and sales & marketing Adidas products. I was hands on in sell ins and directly dealing with buyers and planners of Field and Key customers. This was an extremely thrilling experience for me, i learnt so much about Sales and how to market products as well as the 4's in Marketing. Cape Town Agency was terminated in June 2007. The next role was within the Adidas Group. Show less
