      ■ I administrated the Hyperion Essabse cube and Planning Forms, dealing with the frequent changes and always assuring that everything was well synchronized. I created a reporting system (automatically upgradable through VBA), reducing the time to generate the monthly reports from 2 days to 30 minutes. I adapted it for the Spanish branch, training my colleagues. ■ I created a set of triggers to check inventories and general costs to detect and fix problems to enhance the accuracy of the monthly reports. I drew flow charts for employees to prevent these errors at the source, reducing the time for the control tasks from 1 week to 1 day.■ I revised the manual annual budgeting process and I automated it using VBA and Hyperion to generate the over 300 budget files needed by chiefs of production to decide the new year targets. After automatically loading the budget files in Hyperion, I presented the annual budget to the CFO, with an extensive documentation and a synthetic variance analysis. I reduced the time for the entire process from 4 to 2 months; the early delivery of the first version of the budget allowed the management to make strategical decisions before the competitors.■ Given my flexibility and my helpful attitude, colleagues from every office relied on me for fixing issues and I applied the knowledge acquired during these collaborations to improve the communication flow between the functions.
