  Facilities: - Accountable for all project management and interactions with various contractors: plumbing, plowing, landscaping, telephone system, electrical, pest control, fire alarm, sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, cleaning services, heating and air conditioning, septic system, fire marshal, building maintenance. - Manage entire cleaning staff - coordinate of daytime and evening responsibilities including special events and holiday/summer cleaning. - Direct and schedule all necessary and mandatory inspections for all aspects of the campus. - Liaison with Town of Newtown officials in relation to projects associated with building and campus, such as construction, signage, traffic flow and regulations. - Supervise mandatory monthly checks on all emergency systems - alarms, emergency lights, generators, and campus safety hazards. - Perform daily inspections of the campus to ensure all exterior doors are secure, unnecessary equipment is turned off, no plumbing or electrical issues have arisen and the building is secure and safe. - Supervise all office equipment purchases, maintenance and supply ordering. - Manage all aspects of maintenance, inspections, insurance, up to date DMV documents for all school transportation. Act as the “School Transportation Coordinator” as required by the CT DMV, where I am the liaison between the school and the DMV in charge of the bus and drivers. Information Technology: - Research and recommend all IT related purchases, changes and maintenance. - Direct all information technology related installations and repairs. - - - Troubleshoot most issues in order to save money and time for the users. Health and Safety: - Manage all critical health-related issues by communicating with teachers and parents to provide backup information specific to each situation.
